Review of the film "Taken"

Taken Taken is nigh an ex-CIA agent whose daughter is kidnapped by hinge upon traffickers firearm on vacation in Paris, France. I enjoyed this movie very much. I had not heard or read much around the film prior to going to s ee it, so I didnt have many expectations coming in. I had seen pre take ins for it while at other movies so I had only a basic understand of the premise, but it looked promising. Taken starts off relatively slow as it presents the back-story and nabs us up to speed on how we ended up where we are.

The lighting noticeably switches from darker when Mills is unaccompanied or thinking about his relationship with his daughter, to lighter when he is around her. The musical score is similar in this way, transforming from a dim and somber arrangement to much lighter and unequivocal when dealing with Kim. The cinematography begins to become in teresting shortly later Kim and the friend ! she is accompanying are accosted by their abductors in the flat tire they are staying at in France.
